Oh no! That's awful and it brings to mind the dangers we have in driving and even just walking on the streets these days. Well told in just a hundred words starting with the main point and surprising us at the end. Congratulations on your third place finish!

Wow, what a tragic story.
You managed to write a complete story in just 100 words. Well done.
Good entry for the 100 Word Story writing prompt contest.

Great lesson in this story. When driving put it down; don't text and drive. I have come to the conclusion that cancer will be fatal if not detected in time; and when you beat the disease, take caution and watch out where you are walking.

This one-hundred-word story, Isn't It Ironic, has the proper word count and notes the sad reality that people die at the hands of distracted drivers all the time.

This horrible tale is well written, building smoothly from beginning to end. This story highlights the danger of texting while driving. It can harm the driver, another vehicle, or as in this case, a pedestrian. Great short story. Best wishes in the contest.

This sort of irony happens. Still it is little hard to imagine that might be someone last thoughts on earth. "Isn't it ironic that I'm about to be hit by car. It's too late to share my good news. Now I understand what my eighth grade English teacher was trying to teach us about irony." Just kidding.
This is neat 100 word story. Good luck in the contest.

Well done. Ironic, yes. You have written your story well and added a fine and appropriate image. He would have had only a couple of seconds to register the irony!! Best wishes for your entry.

Wow how very ironic!
These kinds of things go on all around us beat one thing only to get caught by another. I'd think to myself "figures". We just never know what life deals us. We can turn the corner 1 second and begin the next. Or we can suffer the slowness of cancer like so many do.
A very good right strikes cord within me cause I am the survivor myself.
Thank you for your submission and I will await the next one.
Good luck in the contest!
