I love that we can go to God just as we are and speak to him as we do any other person. The talking points that you offered are great for social media. You are right, we don't see/hear enough about him. God does get a bad reputation because of the things that Satan does. Be careful, you might get recruited to write the next PSA.
Your P.S. touched me because we also have 2 children in Heaven that we never met.

Hello Dr. Nad! I had to give this a six! This is sensationally written, and what I like about it the most is it isn't IN YOUR FACE.
I'm not a churchgoer, and I don't pray regularly, but I do believe in God, and I feel, in the end, that is all He is asking for.
He is a simple soul, and I want to ask you if you think He'd be upset with fanfare and million-dollar buildings that we call "The House of the Lord." I'm sorry if I trivialized Him in any way. I've always been true to myself and my beliefs. Best, JohnC

Hey John, thanks so much for stopping by and reading and reviewing my letter to God. I sure do appreciate those six beautiful stars they speak volumes, don't they? I'm glad that it came through that I was not trying to be obnoxious or arrogant. I do believe that God is sometimes more charitable to us that we expect them to be. I thank God handles us and our attempts to connect with him on an individual basis. What I would say to you concerning your relationship to him is colon routinely check in with God do a prayer that ask the question, how am I doing? Do you expect more for me than what I am giving you? I really do love you God, and want to be well thought of as one of your kids. Embrace the love from above

Thank you so very much for taking the time to read and review my letter to God. I will quickly admit that many challenges exist in our world. Faith is a personal decision and experience. I encourage people who are unsure of where they stand to address the matter with God. I would say,"All right God, if you're really there and all those things your followers say about you are true, I'm open and eager to learn about it and follow you myself. If you speak to me in your way I will listen in mine and obey." I think I got a little preachy there didn't I. L. O. L. Embrace the love from above.

I'm forever asking God if he exists. If I knew for absolute sure that he did, I would be the first to humble myself in prayer to him. Although I have asked repeatedly, I have never received an answer.

I don't know exactly what to say, I do know that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. He is aware of your every situation but he does not always act as we think he should. I prayed for you, and I will pray for you that as you seek to understand him, he will make himself known to you.

I think you've said all the things everyone thinks about. I know we just have to trust Him and know He will do what needs to be done in His own time. I'm so sorry about your children. I lost a son two years ago. He was 54. He was still my baby. The pain never goes away, I know.

My attempt to reach those who struggle with the goodness of God. Thanks for the excellent five star rating. Sorry for your loss. Never having met those two children in one sentence makes it easier because there were no memories built up. On the other hand the added pain is that there were no memories built up. I can understand how your feelings go both ways. I always thought it would be easier to love one early on because of the less history I'd have with them. I guess I was wrong.

I certainly wouldn't say you were wrong! I was a hospice chaplain for 15 years and a pastor for 35. People grieve differently and heal differently. Some people seem to never get over their loss, some people seem to get over it relatively quickly. I always told people not to pass judgment on their family and friends because of their differences in the bereavement process they go through. You are good my sister!

Thanks so much John for your excellent five star review. In reality, you can look back at the reviews for this and I would say I haven?t had any negative flack, but I have not had the number of reviews I fully expected. What I think is, the title says, "Dear God", and people who are not Inclined toward faith, just stayed away. I?m disappointed, but it?s OK. I wouldn?t change what I wrote.

I enjoyed reading your letter. I liked how you set it in a
casual tone. The info you provided was great. All the
issues here on Earth were well developed--esp how so
many have turned away from God. I believe it's only when
convenient for them do they request something. The
other times they just blame Him.

Thanks Jan for both reading, and reviewing my letter to God. I think real often we would like to have God in our life for emergencies and on our terms. Also, we have tasks that we would like him to perform. Take care of stuff, and take care of people who get in our way. I?m really glad God isn?t a cosmic cowboy 🤠 running to my rescue. Wow! It's been almost two years since you submitted anything here. Well, this seems right up your alley, and I like how you approached it with a good sense of humor:-)

For presentation, I would suggest that you tighten the lines up a little - there is a lot of space between them.
