This shows the effect of bullying and the effects of being kind despite the mistreatment. You found a fitting picture to illustrate your words.
I think the use of exclude instead of excluded makes that rhyme sound forced. I don't know if that line is really needed.

Lol, Joan we are so on the same page w that, and I have changed it ten times. The line itself is needed in order to follow the rules of the contest. I think that was line nine. However, I have tried many other substitutes to replace it. and that is the line that starts the odd number so it seems out of place right after I?ve just done a bunch of even numbers. I even tried the words include, so we will just have to see how that I can make that work

Kids can be mean. They are not born with that bully-bone or mean-bone within them. Generally it's learned from some adult figure in their life.
You have a nice poem here showing someone bullied and able to turn the tide of events,

This was a very cleverly done Even the Odds poem and it rhymed all the way through while telling a meaningful story! We do need stories that show us that one can overcome "misconstrued" attitudes.

People often talk without thinking, speak out when they should remain silent. The one exercising kindness in this unkind social system, will resemble a giant, he will be misunderstood and possibly hated by those he overshadows.
