It?s one of the chapters that I was most nervous about having out of context, since it dips into lore that?s built up in other parts of the story, that I was worried wouldn?t translate at all outside of context. An absolutely compelling read, from the single line opening statement until the finality of the concluding sentence.
My recently departed friend used to often say, "I am the alpha and the omega." To me this shook me to the core. He was in his early fifties.
Your vivid imagery and descriptive abilities make this a standout read. Thankyou.
