You are so right, the only way to live is by taking one day at a time. Once we have made our salvation sure, we live each day to its fullest, in anticipation of what awaits us in Heaven.

A very nice sonnet. The rhyme scheme is tight and the rhymes are unforced. The images are clear. The thought flow from beginning to end is good.
Though many people don't regard it as so, we all live our lives day by day. There is no other choice--we only have today. All else is anticipation or remembrance.
