This poem, I Can Await, presented with a sonnet-esque formatting, reminds the readers that we live a day at a time and should make the most of all of them.

I love the opening couplet. We do hurry about as if we have someplace to get to quickly and then, well, did we really need to be in such a hurry to get, where was it?
This was fun to read. Great rhymes and meter. Fun topic.

I like your theme of living in the moment,it is how we should live. I like your line "I'll try to live my life today". It is a good way to approach life. This is an excellent poem that teaches the reader.

Once again, I find myself agreeing with you. The best way to live life is one day at a time. I don't tend to review poetry since I am not really a poet, but I wanted to let you know I appreciate this one. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.

You have written another good poem thinking about the future. Since we don't have time travel...yet...I guess it is good we have to wait to see what tomorrow brings. And you are so right, let hope is peace and joy. Well done. Terry.

Wise words--we tend to constantly reach for tomorrow without taking the time to live in the present moment. Or we long for the past or live in its regrets, also without taking the time to live in the present moment. Thanks for sharing your lovely poem and the reminder.

Living in the moment. And filling those moments with writing - a worthwhile pursuit as one travels to the final destination. I like the simplicity of your words, and how they reflect an uncluttered way of being. This is a lovely poem.

I often find that your author's notes speak wisely of the coming days and how you mean to spend each day the best way possible and I agree it is best to take one day at a time. Good luck with living and I hope you live a full life with lots of friends and poetry writing.

We have our memories and a hope for tomorrow, but none of us are guaranteed more than this moment. Right now. Your philosophy on life is not only wise, but it's also practical!

That was an enjoyable read and a delightful take on acceptance...It flowed nicely and had a tight rhythm.

I'm not surprised in the slightest it's been recognized and become an all time best.
