I've read every entry, and there are so many excellent choices. This one, dear anonymous, touched my heart, and made me hesitate, and ponder the many circumstances of life that cause such an aching need to reconnect! For this reason, and for your wonderfully chosen image, my vote, alas, is yours!

Fabulous acrostic poem. One that did not seemed forced to fit in with the rules. Instead it had a natural flow and you created a melancholic vibe. Vivid imagery. Thank you.
