Great choice of illustration and layout.

Just personally, to me, a waterfall is powerful and has impact, it does not scream, "serene". This is just my humble opinion.

The last 2 words lost impact and that was the writing prompt.

Vivid imagery and a feel good poem.

The image is so beautiful as well as the words. There is something about a waterfall; it is a cascade of water falling from a steep incline. It is a river or stream flowing over a rocky foundation.

I found that each line lends itself to the waterfall...
Ripples in the waters leading to the cascading, majestic yet powerful falls, pooling into calm and serene waters.

I enjoyed thinking this one through. It brought a calm sensation.
