Ciao poet, this is definitely a winner,
in English, many words sound the same but have different meanings like sun and son
You did a brilliant job in incorporating 'SON' shine in your spiritual poem
I'm a Star Trek nerd and in the episode Bread and Circuses Kirk, Spock and Bones misinterpreted the word Sun but Uhura put them on the right track
Here is the closing scene.

WoW! Had l ever scene this seen, l might have been a tremendously trending Treky. (Sorry I just couldn't resist that one, but it was a fun dip in the pool of Star Trek)
Seriously, I am impressed with them. Awesome.
I don't know if you saw the video that I put with the poem, or if you even had this show when you were young, but this is my remembrance of the song that influenced my poem. "Let the Sunshine in." I had just entered it in there when I came back and found your awesome review. If you have a chance, please go back and listen to it to and let me know if you had ever heard this song by these two sweeties!?! And by the way, thanks for one of the
gratest reviews that I am very greatful for. LOL

I will check it out now but I am European / Italian so I have my doubts.

The video is a great addition ?. ties up your entry with a bow.
I wish you luck in the contest!

Thanks again Sweetie!

Beautiful! The author says so much in this two line poem! The poem
is engaging, descriptive and creative. I like how the author using the
word "son" to give a great message! The poem flows and connects well.
The artwork is awesome and compliments these words.

Reminds me of some words I wrote some time ago. I suspect SONSHINE has been sed throughout many lives. Still, it a solid invitation to 'see'a better life, isn't He.

Hi,
These 10 words in two lines give the best, strongest advice ever. The :"Son" is the hope of eternal life as the sun is the light of human life.
Faith makes both kinds of life worth striving for.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Good luck in the contest.

You have come up with a really clever idea for the ten word poem contest. I'll bet that this is unique. I think that you should do very well in the contest.

I remembered the words from a song a long time ago. I enjoyed your short, meaningful poem for the writing prompt. If more people opened their heart to the Son, love would conquer all. Well done.

Hi Kay, do you remember where the song came from? I haven't watched the show since I was a little girl, but there was an episode on the Flintstones that I have never forgotten. It is where Pebbles and BamBam sing, "Open up your heart and let the sunshine in". It's about how to not let the devil into your heart. I'm going to be adding the YouTube video to it later this morning.......
I figured if that song had enough impact on me so many years later. As I so often pray before writing, those ten words would. not leave no., Thanks for your very kind comments my friend!

We sang it in church when I was a young person - many moons ago, an American song, have a look on google?
