Thank you for reminding us of this old song, that we used to sing as children. I always like the line: "Smilers never lose and frowners never win" Hope I remembered that right.

I haven't heard this song in ages! Pebbles and Bam-Bam... lol I totally forgot they started a little band. (But what 70s family didn't?)
I'm quite sure that wasn't Pebbles and Bam-Bam, but Alvin and the Chipmunks! I didn't know them back then, but I'm sure it had to be the same performers. The voices are uncannily similar. lol

Hi Roy, Thank for the awesome review for this poem . I haven't watched the show since I was a little girl, but there was an episode on the cartoon called Flintstones that I have never forgotten. It is where Pebbles and BamBam sing, "Open up your heart and let the sunshine in". It's about how to not let the devil into your heart. Thanks for your very kind comments my friend!
