This is so worth a six...a seven if it were possible. This is one of the few poems I've read and couldn't decide which lines I liked best. Every single line is so exquisitely written. You are a magnificent poet.

It's lovely, you have captured the warmth of the fire and woollen clothes, and the anticipation of green instead of white outside. (We don't even have a fireplace and it's always green outside (or brown in drought)). Beautifully written.

The area nearest to me is fine now, although there has to be a lot of rebuilding. However the west of the state, usually prone to drought, has had recent unprecedented floods and loss of life. Thank you for remembering and asking.

I love four seasons. Each season has its own beauty. Snow represents winter. It reminds people of Merry Christmas and NewYear.
Spring reminds people it is time to start it over. Make a new plan and work diligently to achieve your goal.

I needed this poem. I sit here feeling sorry for myself because its cold and dark (cloudy in the morning and afternoon). I hate winter. Except for Christmas.
Your poem is so sweet and uplifting. I'm hoping for a sunny and cheerful Spring.
Excellent work, Paul. I read your bio; my parents were married 64 years; and they were happy too.

It is stellar. Amazing. Breathtaking. The lines flow so gracefully along one after the other...
The precise use of enjambment keeps the reader leaning forward.. looking our those frosted panes with you. If i strain hard I imagine i see a crocus there~ pushing up a perky head!
And spring is my fave~ so coommee on, spring!!
