WellI am hoping Bret is going to be with the man who bought him a hit meal before he fled the Mc Donald's.he didn't have a clue what to do, keep on the street or return to Heritage Hill to be abused some more.

Wow! This man was enchanted by you as much as you were enchanted by him. What a great story your life is turning out to be. I wonder if you're writing it the same way you did the first time or if you've made some changes. I also wonder where you got the idea of who you beleve you father was and how if the woman who dropped you off without an explaination was the mother who had cancer.

This is getting very exciting and a great read. leaving a lot of "of's" out with the "couples" along the way. I know it is an American thing but the "of's" in there would make it read better, internationally, stuff USA.

Its a bit like the "loss", "lose" and "loose" and the "choose" and chose" that too many Americans get lost on.

So Dusty must have some money to be able call up a person to do a background check. I am liking Dusty more all the time. Thank you for sharing.

Dusty shook his head "no". (Dusty shook his head. "No.")

My splintered bleeding heart pined for Dusty to call me back and dress the wounds life cacooned me in. (cocooned)

The first sense of belonging must have hit you at that time, if you'd survived the streets you could have been anything couldn't you? Someone utterly without feeling, someone with an emotional nothing, who could kill at the drop of a hat. Beautifully written Brett, you led an unbelievable life. Well done, blessings Roy
