Very true; we do teach ourselves daily. We are good teachers to be able to take care of ourselves; but I do not think I could live day by day if I didn't have the greatest teacher on earth, Jesus, praying for me.

I like the idea of this. We are always learning, growing in understanding and informing ourselves. Perhaps we can be better teachers for ourselves if we have drive and determination than those with degrees. I wonder though, if it is life that teaches us the greatest lessons as we wonder through and experience it? Food for thought! Thanks for sharing and good luck in the competition!.

Learning is something we never stop doing and if we can teach someone and save their embarrassment at not knowing something, then we have succeeded in teaching and learning at the same time, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

A short but thought-provoking piece! It is so true. It is entirely up to us whether we are willing to learn life's lessons. We can just close the book and walk away - none the wiser.

This is a good one-line entry. The message is clearly stated and speaks a truth that many act as if they do not know. The visual fits well. It reminds me of a meditation site. Good luck in the contest.

-Nice artwork and presentation.
-I like your title and the topic.
-A good message about how
we can all be our "own teacher,"
whether it's finding something new
or finding meaning in something that's
been around for centuries.
-Good luck in the contest.

The things I've learned in life are all due to observation and perception, but that depends on what one's life is founded on. If it's sand then the basis is never sound, it has to be rock, and that initially comes from parental influence, non of us is truly independent. Well done, blessings Roy
