Another beauty that the musician in me just finds so SMOOTH and rapturous of both rhyme and beat. This one, also, like the previous one I edited, has that nostalgic, "vintage" feel of outstanding writers from our English Lit books!! Very enjoyable read!!

I am in awe of your gorgeous poetry. I wish I could write like that, but I guess we all have our own signature style and mine is pretty simple.

Your poem flows, and paints a picture and I feel your words. I reread it a number of times and each time your words painted a more detailed picture. I closed my eyes and could hear the sweet sounds.

Welcome back! I'm a newbie and finding my feet here. I'm so glad you found your note pad and decided to return because this is just fantastic writing! I love rhyming poetry and this is true class! "Such plaintive strains pledge purity" - what great line filled with alliteration and delicious description. Such a sweet story of love too! Will her beautiful musical voice ever be more to him than the girl by the stream or will that kiss be the beginning of his journey to learn her language!!
I can't wait for more.
