This is a good entry to the sonnet contest. The text is a nice size. The message is clearly written. You took your time building the poem to the reveal. Ahh.. I wanted it to be what you thought. Well, maybe he will use this experience to think of something that will illicit the same response from you. The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks so much Sandra. You are always so sweet and I appreciate your lovely review and comments. He told me after he admitted it that he wished he had kept that part to himself. But I know I would have caught him, because he always gets a funny look on his face, when he tells a little white lie. LOL! Thanks again my dear friend.

I adored the loving sentiment here only to find out this was an accident. Fine rhyming words although your lines are more than 10 syllables and iambic pentameter is missing in some of the lines, a fine poem, love Dolly x

Oh no Dolly, I must have missed that part about the ten syllables. I read the directions that took me online, so I didn't look at any other. Thank you my sweet friend for telling me. I better go see what I can do. It's just so hard with a story. And thank you too, for your lovely comments. Thanks again for your help.

What a fun picture and a delightful thought. You wrote a terrific sonnet and none of your rhymes seem forced. You also have a terrific husband who admitted it wasn't his doing. Not all guys would do that.
