This is the first time I read you, but I've loved your poem.
I also wrote one for her, but mine is terrible. I just wanted to make her smile.
I love the stanza in which you speak about the thorn and the roses.

Thanks Heather. Right after I read that you also wrote her a poem, I had to review it, as I thought it was fun and a great tribute to her. You do have a knack for poetry even if you didn't think so. I can't thank you enough for your very kind review and words for Helen's birthday poem, and of course for Helen. Read her story that she posted tonight and it will tell some of the answers. She got swamped w questions after I posted this,.I did have her permission to use what I knew as I can see she is opening up more. You will enjoy her article immensely .
One more thing tho missy before you go, lol, thank you from the bottom of of my heart for those shiny stars you gave us. So appreciated my friend!

It is always best to celebrate a birthday of someone whos is still alive as opposed to celebrating the anniversary of their demise. With that having been said, even though I myself no longer celebrate birthdays, I join with you in wishing the celebrated author known to her fans as 'lyenochka' a very happy birthday and many, many more.

Thanks so much Verna, I just wanted to make sure that our birthday poet had a little taste of her own medicine.. However she has quite a story to tell of her life. I only just touched on it. Thanks so much my lovely friend for your very kind words fore Helen and the poem.

Still can't put pressure on the latest leg but have an appt w surgeon today and X-rays will tell the story. I am working hard with therapy everyday tho. Thank you for asking. And I truly love you too my dear friend and sister in Christ! 😘
