No problems with the font size, Barbara. This was an excellent chapter in the story. I missed it! Now, what is that creep Alan up to? He's obviously got something in that deranged head of his. I'm glad Cord is with her, and I hope that Ali will soon make her mind up to stay with Cord on the ranch. She doesn't like the city, she fits in so well in the countryside. Well, he nearly got that first kiss, but was scared of the consequences. I think she was, too. Excellent, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I enjoyed the ride through NewYork city and central park and I almost drooled when I read about the ice creams. Griffin follwing fills me with unease..Cordero's self control is commendable.

Seemed Cord resented his mother's involvement in his relationship with Alexandra.
Griffin following them indicates potential trouble brewing.
Appears they are both more than apprehensive about letting their feelings for each other bloom.

This is really good. They know a great deal about each other now and Cord realizes he is having a lot of problems with being the perfect gentleman. I hope he doesn't underestimate the danger Griffin can pose.

Very good writing and pacing. Good view of the surrounding and emotional build up of your two love interests. Nice internal dialogue from Cord at the end. Very natural and in keeping with his character.

Well, Alexandra and Cordero both finally admitted openly that they have strong feelings for each other, and yet they chose to back away from it. I find that sad. There's no substitute for love, and I don't think people should ever run away from that. Kate xx

You do a great job of gradually raising the romantic tension until they almost kiss - it's that fun device where the reader knows what's going to happen and can anticipate events. I like that things are still full of doubt - humans are complicated, and you reflect that.

I think Ali figured out Cord carrying a gun is part of who he is. He's saved her once already with the gun against a rattlesnake. Thank you for the kind review.

I hate repeating myself, but what else can I say but 'another great installment, Barbara. You know, sometimes I feel like Cord and Alexandra are taking things too slowly, but they've only known each other for several weeks. However, I do love your build-up to the inevitable.
