Reading about the dynamics of your family over the years is very interesting, Beth. The one I felt might never find what she was looking for, Connie, now seems to be the most stable of them all. Thanks for sharing another episode, and reminding us of the celebrity scandals at the time. :)

Thank Jan, I appreciate the review and comments. Connie has some more trauma ahead but as of now, she is the most stable of all.

I enjoyed this, you continued on with the story of your family and what was happening in the world at the time, the O.J. trail was captivating, it went on and on.

One could never say your life wasn't interesting, nor the kids adjusting to their respective personal lives, if nothing else they must have kept you and Evan on your toes. But things still tend to work out in the long run, despite all the worry, which achieves nothing, beautifully written Beth, blessings Roy

And Clinton's scandal was interesting. Thank you for sharing these memoirs with us. I always enjoy reading them. They take me down memory lane as I remember what's going on in the world and in my own life.

Thank you Barbara. I'm trying to find things that happened during the period I'm writing about that will bring back memories for those that read it. Clinton's scandal was in 98 so I'll probably mention it again when and if I get that far with this.

Hi Beth, I really liked this continuation to your family story. I can see that you were still facing problems within your family.
On the political or side, they, the problems seem so mundane compared to what we are facing today. Can't wait to reading on. Ulla:)))

Thank you Ulla, Yes, we just thought we had problems on the political front back then. They seem pretty tame now. Who knows what it will be like in the future. Thanks for the review.

I declare I don't know how you remember all this so clearly, Beth. Not just family events, but world events as well. I remember bits and pieces, but I could never do what you do here. Good job as usual. You do amaze me! Nancy:)

As I've said many times, your children will enjoy looking back at everything you remember about what has happened in all your lives. But I think, that the grandchildren, great grandchildren and so on, will enjoy them ever more. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.

Great! Another one of your well-crafted biographical sketches about your family. Your children will appreciate this effort from you as you document their heritage and history.

This was a good read especially mentioning things in world news we were all aware of, even "Down Under." Now for a few spags. Title...Trying (t)o[t] keep the family afloat. isn't easy.
ceiling[e](s) were no long(er 'in!") People whose houses (had) popcorn ceilings were updating and removing that finish.

Thank you for the review. I'm trying to add a little of what is going on in world to make my story more meanful for the reviewers.

Oh, I remember those scandals. But they don't seem nearly as bad as an ex-president stealing top secret documents! That still distresses me.
Thanks for sharing this time period of your life. So much financial and emotional stress for all of you! I am glad that your dad decided against the knee surgery. I can see how much pressure the Don was under. And your poor husband with his bad heart felt all that stress, too.
Maybe missing a word here?

Thank you Helen. I think you are right. The scandals of the ninties are minor like those of today. It seems a lot of people are willing to accept lies and crimes from their leaders. It is scary.
