A silence followed' an ending to make the readers curious. I loved reading Codero's New york experience .I hope her money wont be an obstacle to their romance

Thank you for the kind review. I doubt the money, but I am sure NYC will.

You just took us on a tour of New York City. Some of the references even took me to different sites just so I could see them. For instance, One World Trade Center. After its destruction on 9/11/2001, I was confused as to whether it would still be called One WTC, and it is.

After Chapter 19 B
P15, s1: SUGGEST insert (of) between (scale) and (one-to-five?)

After 1st *****
P4, s1: Add a comma after (So) Pause after an introductory word.

After 3rd *****
P16, s1: SUGGEST insert (out) between (She pointed) and (and they)

After 5th *****
P6, s1: (Sant Amboeus) should be (Sant Ambroeus) If you are referring to the world-class restaurant in New York City.
P8, s2: SUGGEST (significance) rather than (significates) significance being the more familiar and relatable term.

Now, there can be no doubt. Cord and Ali are a "thing." All that's left is for both of them to admit it.

Great story telling, factual yet interesting, consistent throughout.

Once again you prove the master in using realistic dialogue to reveal the subtleties of relationships. Here we see Corderro trying to be deffering to Alex, trying to be at ease in a city he is not quite at ease in, trying to let her take the lead in fact. He must really be in love with her, or he wouldn't be suggesting they take on their own moms to stake out the perameters of their relationship. And you do it all while they go on a simple sight seeing tour. Love the subtle ness of this chapter. estory

Agree ballet and opera are out of my plans.

An escape room sounds like fun. Sounds like Ali wants to "escape" with Cord.

Should "significates" be significance?

Seems Ali and Cord enjoyed the day, and time, together seeing some of the sights of New York City.

Do not know if you have ever been there but they truly are remarkable seen in person.

Yes, I have been there, but it's been a while ago. Right after Desert Shield/ Desert Storm. My husband I wanted to get away for a while when he returned.

Don't pay any attention to someone who says a chapter doesn't move the plot along. You're the writer, and the only one who could possibly know if it's moving things along or not. Those types just need to sit back and see what comes before making those assessments. You just keep writing, and I'll keep reading, enjoying every chapter. :-)

Thank you for the encouragement. I often need that. This person stated if I ever plan on getting published, I'd better change my story.

This is a very good chapter because Cord and Ali need time to get to know each other in her environment. If they get married, he will need to feel more at home in New York City, because that is her home.

This is another excellent chapter. You moved the relationship along nicely in NYC. I do not see any room for improvement. I look forward to the next chapter.

I enjoyed this chapter. I have never visited New York City, so you have given us a bit of a tour. It seems that Cord is feeling his way as to how he fits into Ali's world. Sounds like both mothers are trying to hurry things up.

I like chapter 19; every chapter has been wonderful reading material. This chapter explains to us the touring they did within the city. As I was reading, I wondered if her past husband would arrive at any time.

I can promise Alan will show up a few more times. They were not married, just engaged. Thank you for the kind review.

Hi, Barbara. I do agree with your notes. Each chapter holds a certain significance to this story, and not all chapters have to carry a weight. I enjoy the read each time. Best, JohnC.
