This verse is well written and presented.
I am sorry your dog is not well, I send my prayers.
As a dog lover and owner, I understand your concern and fear of losing him/her.
My lab, Sienna is my support animal and I would be lost without her.

Thanks for taking the time to read and review my poem. Labrador, what a wonderful dog breed. I spent a lot of my early life with my labrador named Trixie. Dogs are so great and mine is seemingly getting better. Thanks for your thoughts. Take care.

-Very nice artwork,Barry.
-Your note is appreciated.
-You have used your 15 words well with a good topic.
-You wrote a good poem about your dog being sick,
and how that is difficult for you.
-I think God cares about people and creatures, too.
-Good luck in the contest.

Aw, this is so sweet, Barry. How we love our pets. I am a dog lover and the vet who'd put my dog down offered to drive me home I was crying so hard! Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest,
Sally :))

I agree. Dogs are more than dogs. They are family.
I enjoyed your poem, Barry. The words told a great,
though poignant, story, the picture was precious, and
your message was clear. Yes, God's in control of all.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

This qualifies as heartbreaking. A dog's love is pure! The narrator wants God to heal him as a birthday present to him/her. The end rhyme of 'cure' and 'pure' puts this in the category of poetry. I love the art work you chose.

I love the selflessness of this. Praying for the dog to heal. Not to win the lottery or meet some perfect soul mate. No, having the dog whole and healthy is winning the lottery. Great job on this.

Animals are a loving member of the household. Unfortunately we can't hold on forever. It's painful, my prayers are with you. I hope everything turns out well. I have gone through what you're going through many times. God bless.

Im not sure this is true, but of course if it is then God can certainly grant this wish. I can remember when I thought that I shouldn't bother God with trivia, but God like a dad said He was always interested in our business. Beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

True it is except for it not being my birthday. Dogs are such good companions and it is tough when they are not well. But things are looking a bit brighter. God does have a special power.
Take care and hope family are well.
Cheers
