Hi Michael, for the life of me I don't know how I thought that you were a collector of orchids, but please forgive me for that error. I guess what l admired most about you were your high standards and convictions of writing about what you believe in, as I do it sometimes myself w humor or else serious poetry. So please know that I will be editing that to make it completely about what it is I love most about you. If you ever have the chance again, it should be done in a half hour or so. Thanks so much for the six stars and hope after editing, it will be a little more worthy. Sorry and as a friend, I picked you because I am a fan of you and your writing.

Regina, I was kind of upset w myself for not getting you in the first one. One thing that I always depend on is the smile you give me, as I do appreciate having a friend like you that has so many of the same views. I certainly didn't expect a six star review, but it sure means a lot to me. Thank you my very dear friend.

Thanks Robyn, as this has been so much fun. And I fear I will not quit until I tell everyone of my dear friends what they have meant to me. My list was made up a while back, but I keep finding more that I accidentally left out and try to write the few lines as I go. They are so random so like you said, you'd hate to leave any out. This is so not about the contest part as I think that everyone is a winner, as well as the recipients and even the reviewers as they try to guess. Thank you so much my friend, as your kind comments are so appreciated.

It is fun to read through your poetic list of FanStory friends and try to guess who they might be. Mainly I'm mystified. I'm looking forward to finding out who this one is: "This guy can be a tough reviewer, known for fours or less, But when he gives a five or six, you know you've done your best." I would like to be his fan and maybe get some of his tough reviews in order to improve my writing. Stanza two interests me as well. I had knee replacement surgery 8 days ago and today is my first day back on my computer! It is an ordeal, but everyone who's had the same says it's worthwhile.
Though interesting, I offer this poem a 4 because it doesn't have much imagery or other poetic elements. But I find it fine for what it is. This line is perhaps my least favorite: "She's been writing since her age of color crayons and pencils" as it seems awkward and I'm not sure what it means exactly. Would this possibly work better? "She's been writing since she first took colored crayons in her hand."

Katie, since these poems have a little different kind of meaning to them, we all have different ways of getting our hint across. I tried to follow the best of what I know to be true of certain people. They are meant to give just enough tease, but I understand where you are coming from. That line you thought to help me with might be a better hint and I will look at it. Lol, I know you have crossed paths with the four or less guy, but I do have to say he has been much more generous with me lately and on the day I received my six from him, there was much rejoicing here. : ). It is no secret that it's Jesse getting a new knee tomorrow. He hasn't walked in a while, but I have been trying to be a support for him and will post a little poem to let everyone know how he is doing. I am so happy for you that you had yours done. I had one included in my reconstructed leg on July 7th and due to the ongoing attack of my Lupus I was no longer walking. I had many complications and almost didn't make it, but eight days later came home to in-home therapy and home health care. Someone here every day until this last Friday and they will be back after my next leg on Sept 12th. Katie I am actually walking a little with my walker now and I am on cloud 9. I wish you much progress with your new knee as mine is still pretty painful, but I chose to do this w/o narcotics.

Thanks so much Merri. I wrote my list long ago of my dearest friends here but I fear two contests just couldn't cover all the people I have grown to love here. Every time I think of someone new they get added to end of my list and have even written about each one already. But the order that their in doesn't matter for the most part, so I guess there will have to be a part three and maybe four. I so appreciate your very kind comments my friend!

These contests have been fun and so far have been about the people that I knew the most and have connected with on mostly a weekly basis. However I get to know more, like you, it will make it hard to ever stop. And I am not sure I want to. : ). Thank you again my friend!
