Yes caveman Ohmie. (May offers to walk with Ohmie to his cave.)
I realize that my Ohmie stories float all over history and pre-history.
A cypress knee is a knob of the root system that sprouts vertically all around the tree.

This is a cool little story. I enjoyed the flirting exchange between them - your dialogue captured the boy's awkwardness and the girl's humorous taunting very well. I also learnt something. I'd never heard of a cypress knee, so I googled it and now I know what it is.

I think this was an enjoyable story. I like how you get into the boys head and how he's trying to be tough (only to hit someone with a rock). It's a fun read. Loved the ending. Great job.
