Your verse reminds me of my discovering my wife and her discovering me. We were both searching, following previous bad relationships. We weren't practicing on anyone, we weren't playing the field, we were just letting it happen. When it did happen, we perched all right. 28 years and counting.

Your poem touches me. True love you don't need rehearsal, it just happens. An automatic connection. If you're lucky enough to find that special love, you are very lucky, never let it go. Great entry.

An unusual choice of rhyming word at the end - but then I thought that it represented settling, resting, and preparing to make a nest - so I thought that it was a subtle but thoughtful and clever choice. Best wishes for your entry.

Good on the syllable count and form. The meaning come through crystal clear. I like final word. Perched. As if to say, "I found perfection, just what I was looking for and I ain't moving.'

I thinkbtrue love needs to be unrehearsed, or we risk choreographing things that should be left to a natural flow. Sometimes the best plan is to have no plan, and then perhaps we will end up sitting on a tall branch, surveying a domain of happiness.

If one rehearses love it be false, tall branches sometimes have the best view, though they may break, thank you very much
