Nice rant! Feel better? I'm smiling because, seriously, I am increasingly astounded at the effort some people will exert to be actively miserable!
I try, honestly try to remind myself they may be having a perfectly horrible day...
Let's get real, though, right? Some people "default" to "advanced ornery" with each new dawn!!!
As I read your poem I was nodding. Uh-huh! What you said!
Love your line:

Thank you so very much Karenina, as I truly appreciate your lovely review and such kind comments. Lol, some of this was mostly directed at my husband who seems to get in one of those PMS (putting up with men's shit) attacks about once a month, but for the most part is a pretty good guy. Oops, did I just say that? hehe! It's hard to always be at our best and never get down, but we do have the ability to look on the bright side and try to find a way to stay kind and respectful. And you my friend are exactly that. Thank you again!

And you are so very kind Mary! That means so much to me. Thank you for your generous stars and also for such a lovely review. I do agree, as I try to be such a positive person, and you named the one and only thing that can make me negative and that's the condition of our country. I just have to keep handing it over to God, or I would go crazy. I even boycotted the news a few years ago. So thank you so very much Mary. It is so appreciated!

Very well done! Loved your rant. Yes, there are people like that. And perhaps they were raised like that by parents without the golden rule. But hopefully, God will send them your letter when He sees a heart that's willing to repent. Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you so much Helen. I appreciate your kind review and comments, and even though negativity is hard to deal with, so is the pain from this surgery, as I accepted no narcotics at all, and I maybe paying for it but my head is clear. So I just keep praying that God will keep me nice until it gets better Lol

Negative people used to bother me too, until I realized they may have had really bad experiences or they don't have anyone positive in their life. It's hard to review a negative poem though. It can be frustrating.

Hi Tina, Lol, you maybe even nicer than I am. Actually I agree with you because this was kind of aimed at my husband, as we are different as night and day and still married. He's a great guy but I swear he can have PMS once a month. hehe! But I boycotted the news and do what I have to to stay healthy. My glass is full and his is full except that couple days a month. Anyway that's part of the reason, it's mostly the news so, thanks for letting me confide a little. He isn't as bad as my poem is though Thanks for the awesome review and kind words!

What wondrous advice in rhyme! Your meter and rhyme are both excellent and your ideas superlative. I'd love to have hung this in my 8th grade class! (One English teacher suggestion for third stanza: with subject "places," verb should be bring.) Hope it wins the contest!
