Ah yes I remember living in Michigan. Sometimes having snow on Mother's Day and then restarting as early as Halloween. The poem flows well. The rhyme scheme is good except for a falter in the next to the last verse. The rhymes are otherwise unforced. The narrative stays on point. The end is a humorous twist.

And I wasn't far from you in MN. I remember the Halloween blizzard of 91. Does that sound familiar? We actually skipped Spring this year, or so it seemed. But if I can't beat it, I make humor out of it! Thanks so much for your very kind review and fun comments! My friend!

This is well written poem and you give lots of good seasonal examples that people can relate to.
With the rhyming couplets it may read and be presented better if the lines were single. I recommend reducing the font size or removing the bold or if move from traditional to auto.

I am so thankful that you were one of my first reviewers, since they took that option away to not post until finishing your editing. So as soon as I read your review, I went back in, moved it to single lines and took away the italic to start with. You are my hero tonight, as I was kinda brave to write, as I'm in the hospital and they just found half my muse floating in my IVs. hehe!

Maple Lake. Do you remember the Buffalo Allina shooting?I go to the Dr there, so if you'd like to read it, I wrote a poem about it called, Deadly Shooting at Allina Clinic. I feel the same way. Just got out of the hospital a few days ago at North Memorial in Robinsdale. I'm sure that a name you can relate to.
