A very wise lesson in morality that anyone can benefit from. I have always been a positive thinker and thus a positive type of guy. I get myself in trouble quite often by not being able to see the negative in someone whose sole objective is to take me for whatever I have. But, with God's grace and mercy, I survive.
I know this is an older post, but I can't help myself, I have to do it.

You always come off as very positive and understanding Debi, so don't chastise me for writing that one little observation, OK?

I don't mind you correcting my errors as long as you keep saying nice things between the correcting. Lol! Can you believe I was once such a stickler on grammar, punctuation and spelling. It drove my kids crazy that I can't even send a text message w/o it looking like a proper letter.
Yes, about my poem. I do seem to write about negativity a lot, but it's all about not wanting that to cloud up my sunny skies. Or as Barbara Streisand sang, "don't rain on my parade." Thanks so much my bff!

Though there were many lines of your poem I particularly liked, these last two lines below were my favorite by far.

This is a very good poem for this contest. Too many enjoy running that tongues to put others down without actually knowing what they are all about. We form opinion without facts and attack others without realizing that we aren't prefect either. I enjoyed your poem.

I always tell my husband before he grumbles about someone else, that someone might be saying things about him that aren't fair. This is a great and well written poem. The only thing I would suggest, and it is only a suggestion, 'Keep looking for good and you will find good' Maybe change one of the 'good' to 'kind' as this is repetitive. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review and such kind words. I so appreciate your gracious six stars and I thank you so very much. I also thank you for your priceless feedback, but in this case I thought of all the other words, but it is my style to do it this way. And I truly want you to tell me if you understand what I am trying to say. I used the word good twice in that sentence to emphasize if you look for the good, then thats exactly what you will find. I do that in other writings, such as describing someone's beauty as so very beautiful.. Lol, I like being a little different than the rest, and you might say a little bit of a rebel. However with that being said, please don't ever hesitate to give me feedback because 90% of the time, I will change things, but always appreciate it. I thank you for taking the time to read it, review the poem and also your comments. It shows me you care about helping people. And most certainly thank you again for the six stars!
