That's such a cute picture. I can't image my cats tolerating such beauty treatment. They do tolerate brushing. I can understand the other cats not wanting such treatment. This cat seems really proud of her looks, but she can't convince the other cats to give it a try. Best of luck in the contest. judi

As a cat owner, I love this! Some cats would object to this kind of beauty routine, but others feel they deserve it:-)

LOL Thank you for sharing this writing prompt entry with us. A year old DSH female kitty decided to make it up four flights of stairs to starve to death on our doorstep. (We were living in Germany.) Of course, we took her in and she lived 20 years with us. Anyway, she was covered with fleas. I decided she needed a bath to get rid of the fleas. No living with me if you have fleas. I still have the scars on my arm from this bath, but no fleas. LOL

Aww, how lovely is that :-). I have only one experience of shampooing a cat - it turned into slippery floors, floating suds and a very unimpressed otter lookalike being chased round the house by folk wielding towels. We never tried again!
