This is a lovely poem to friendship and it is extra poignant because I surmise that this friend is someone you found on FanStory. So Lovely!! The first stanza is perfect! I did find a couple of spots where I think you struggled.
. "soul" and "beautiful" don't seem to click the way a rhyme should.....
. " So often our opinions seems to feel exact same way" I think something is missing here.....but would adding "the" as in "the exact same way" destroy your meter? The beginning of this section seems off a bit too.... I suggest you look it over.

Thanks Katie. I had the word such a vibrant soul and took it out as I think it still flows great, but now wondering if I should put it back.
But if you have a suggestion for that bugger on exact same way, please help me! Lol! I struggled tremendously with this stanza because I wanted it to say that often our opinions were exactly alike, but nothing seemed to work for the flow, so ended up with exact same way, which really doesn't sound like a correct sentence. Actually I hate that line! I'm so glad you called me on it my friend as I know and love your awesome feedback.

Thank you so much Dolly. We started communicating as we realized that there were unreal similarities in our lives, and it is wonderful to have that with someone you haven't even met. However so many of the emotions are felt with so many here, as I am overwhelmed by how I feel so much love
for so many friends like you here. It's my favorite place to go now without actually leaving home.

Why do I always get such a chuckle out of your reviews? Maybe in this case is because the first thing I thought about, yeah but what if her poem is about someone else? Haha! I am so blessed w so many friends here, as well as in my my life here at home, including my best friend of 40 years, who I have already written a poem for and included in the book for my family that I wrote. However, I have become so close to Maggie here, that it only seemed right to have it about her. While loving so many, there are a total of five that are so dear to my heart, as my friend you truly are in those five. Your friendship means so much to me, and I believe we should tell people because life is just too short. Thank you for your always kind words and reviews

Thank you so much Verna, as I always love hearing from your beautiful heart. As you speak of your group, is it the same one as here? I seem to barely find time though to get on there as I post all of my poems here.
I used to write and congregate w a few that I think that we spoke of.
Also this reminds me of having a pen pal from childhood but not sure what became of her after we both grew and married and had our own family.

What a truly beautiful tribute to your friend. It's interesting that you've never met, but I understand completely how a bond can form and grow over time even if it's "virtual".
