This a wonderful friendship poem. I love the way it flows. It talked to me, because I have many friends that are like sisters. Sisters of the universe. It is a blessing when you friend that person that is not only a friend,but becomes a sister to you. I can see why this writer is #7 in the rankings. Well done.

I feel the same way Sandra, but I spend more time with you and my other special friends here than anyone in my regular life. I feel like I have known so many of you here forever! It's strange but I would miss you all so much if I ever had to leave. I too feel so blessed by you and so many others.

Your meter and rhymes are technically right on and show creative wealth and skill. The melodic bounce of the lines was perfectly in keeping with the happy mood of this poem. I wish I knew the subjects name. She sounds wonderful. Good luck in the contest. I wonder why you are listed twice and did that accident mean the contest is short one contestant?

Thanks so much Merri, and as always you are so very kind. Thanks so much for your very lovely review and words. First I want to answer your question so I don't forget. This happened about ten times and we aren't sure why, but was a technical error and Tom finally figured out something that was helpful. It was just now the last couple contests were finally fixed. I am not sure why they didn't remove one of my entries but I was paying for those double entries as well. They finally reimbursed me for them though.
And yes, the friend that I connected so well with is from FanStory, and through our writings we realized that we our lives had so many similarities. Yet it truly has amazed me of the many people here who are so much like family. I have enjoyed this so much more than the place I used to write for. Thank you so much my friend! Debi

What a thrill to have someone from a distance that you can communicate and connect with so positively. We may complain a lot about our computers being slow or having bad days or just not working right but just think of the world/s they have opened up for us. These are immediate worlds, not depending on postal service or the expense of phone calls. When we want or need to share with a "fiend", right there they are.
So glad you have that connection Debi, if anyone deserves it, it would be you. I envy your friend on the other end, perhaps I am even jealous of her. She has you.

Sweet poem Debi. I have a sister like that as well. We used to be neighbors so we have a history as well as a great deal in common. We have our differences too but because we love and care for each other, those differences don't get in the way of our friendship.
