From my awareness of my own urge to write or paint, you have described the creative process very well. It is a mystery that needs its freedom to come out however it will, often on a subconscious level that needs 'tidying up' later. This mysterious presence can seem very real to some as an actual person or creature, or as a trance-like state to others, or as a God-given gift.... or all three at once.

I agree with what you've written outside of your poem. As well as the poem itself, it was such fun to read. With the closing lines, I find it really sums it up. "The nature of the creative process" and to "let the Muse be free."
Beautifully stated and said. Well done. Best of luck to you and all the best. Have the best day ever. Much love. And thanks for sharing.
