This is an entertaining poem with a strong rhythm. The contrasts in each line are cleverly manufactures, and the rhyme gives the poem a sense of urgency. Maybe punctuation at the end of lines might help the reader, but I read it without any just fine! Thanks for sharing.

I turned my life over to Christ many years ago, when all of the world's entertainment couldn't provide the feeling that a person gets knowing our Heavenly Father, and our Best Friend & Savior Jesus.
God has Satan is on a short leash, but look at the evil he still causes.
So that's why I wrote this, because I believe that it's hard enough without playing in Satans playground. I love having you and a whole fellowship of people who don't hesitate to announce that Jesus is Lord! And I believe this fellowship we have as fellow authors, is great for our soul daily!

This is really an excellent entry for the Life Lessons contest. When I was a kid, my friends and I played with a ouija board; we were too dumb to know it was dangerous, evil. This is really an excellent entry for the Life Lessons contest. When I was a kid, my friends and I played with a ouija board; we were too dumb to know it was dangerous, evil. In the Bible book of 1 Samuel, chapter 28, King Saul visits a spirit medium and has her summon the spirit of the now deceased prophet Samuel. Saul is chastised and receives a pronouncement of the impending death of Saul and his son Jonathan. Consulting with mediums and fortune tellers was forbidden and Saul knew it, so he was doubly in the wrong by knowingly violating God's commandments.

another great one, I used the quija board long ago, and a demon revealed itself in the spelling, and the center piece my sister and i were touching was moving violently on the board. I was praying aloud and it slowed down to a stop. i brought it to the goodbye, and never touched it since.

Wow Joann, how scary. It's a good thing that God has Satan on a leash, but we need to do our part. It's hard enough to stay in faith with this world calling the good bad and the bad good, without playing in satan's playground too!
And after seeing a friend kill herself over it, it's not worth it, so I know how you must feel too. I appreciate your kind review, but more so it's so nice to know I have so many good friends here that also join together to speak the truth! Thank you my friend!

Oh Barb, you just sent a chill that ran from the top of my head down to my toes. I just don't think people were aware back in those times, as my mother would never have gotten it for me if she suspected. Thank you for sharing that story as I will remember to pass that one down to my grandchildren.
