tutu fog is a marvelous descriptor for morning's colorful awakening
Not quite sure if reciting needs to be capitalized
Best wishes in the voting. My guess your entry is a serious contender for a podium placement.

Lol, Mark, it's me Debi. (the contest is over so I can tell you)I'm getting better, but it still feels so awkward that almost everything I learned about writing, has been changed. We're talking almost 60 yrs, as I'm 67 now. Someday soon, I'll make you proud! Haha. Maybe tomorrow's contest will be
the day! 😀

I like the idea of comparing the pink morning fog to a pink, fluffy tutu - the joy of a new day to come against the joy of dance, pastime and freedom.

Excellent entry for the Nature 5-7-5 writing prompt contest. Good syllables count and connection between lines. The presentation and imagery is great.
I like the tutu fog :)
Good luck in the contest.

This is a very beautiful and well written nature 5-7-5 you have penned for the writing prompt. You used very good descriptive words and beautiful imagery from the art work you chose. God is great and shows us such beauty. Like you said sometimes even in our own back yard! Blessings, Teri

Teri you are always so sweet and complementary. We live in an awesome place surrounded by fields that we rent out, as we inherited my husband's parents farm. Yet we have lived here for fifty years, and I pray that we will never have to sell and move into town, as I fear that will be too hard on both os us, loving to look out of the picture window at the deer, turkeys and many creatures in our front yard and beyond. Not to mention the beauty, as far as the eyes can see. I'm sorry, not trying to brag or be arrogant. I just love being out in the country. Thank you so very much for your wonderful review and such kind comment! As they are so appreciated!

I like the thought of a fog as a tutu for the morning! What a recital that must be. You did a great job expressing yourself in the 17 syllables allotted. Thanks for sharing.

Strange that we feel we need to get away to discover what we left, I bet. Though tutu fog??? I never heard of. How to write three lines and get a point made is also an art form ..........................................................................

Tom, lol, come to think of it, I hadn't either until that one second of looking to be creative and unique! 😉

This is an uplifting 5-7-5 that sets God in our minds even at the start of the day. I find this positive, having been taught to pray before I slept, but living in a household where morning prayers had been lost to the rush of commuting (yes, I commuted even to school).

Katherine, you are so very sweet! And I thank you for such a lovely review and comments. I'm actually better at my morning prayer, just as I wake up. It's informal, but I remember to thank Him for giving me another day, ask to guide my path and let me be a blessing to everyone I that I am in contact with; which is mostly my husband, and FanStory family.
(and of course every few days w my busy children and grandkids & friends)
But I am no longer busy since retirement, so I can't wait till it warms up enough to sit outside w my coffee and take in all the beauty once more, that shows God's love......Thank you again!

The picture and your words were made for each other, they are lovely. I like the description of the tutu in the fog, dancing over the fields. The mist certainly looks like a ballerina's tutu. Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

This is beautiful and creative, the image of fog being a tutu...I really loke that. I've never thought of fog that way, but you've changed my mind. A great contest entry, best of luck to you. :)

That fog is the color of a pink tutu, tutus dance, in recitals. What a smart way of combining a child's dance recital with the words of your poem and what is happening in this picture. Very creative!
