That first line! Amazing! "Morning's tutu fog" -- Nobody but you could have come up with that! And here I am a day late and seventy-six million dollars short wondering how I missed reviewing this way back! (No worries though...It's all Monopoly money!

First, and maybe foremost is the beautiful picture that inspired this poem. The second is the first two lines of the poem that create a very visual image of what we see in the photo. The last line fills it out nicely. Good luck in the contest, very creative. Terry.

How fun! I like your personification of morning dancing like a ballerina in a lacey fog tutu. And I especially like that the day begins with "reciting God's love." Hope you do well in the contest!

    Thank you lyenochka for your lovely review and comments about this poem.
    They were so much appreciated. I did take 2nd place, but they must not show that on the portfolio page. This was a fun poem to write, as when I looked at my photo again, it reminded me of a ballerina dancing softly across the stage, thus giving me the feeling of the pink fog reminding me of a tutu.

The glory of God's creative genius is revealed in the everyday marvels that he allows us to view for free. The objects that he allows men to construct pale in comparison with the massive whale or the tiny sparrow, both of which are loved equally by God our creator.

    Nomi you are so very poetic! Thank you so much, as you prove that it's possible for fog to slowly dance across the field, as a ballet dancer dances in her pink tutu across the stage. We live in the country, surrounded by field and nature as the deer and other wild life come into our yard. Some days I'll watch the birds in the feeder for hours, wondering how they could possibly survive in temps of minus 30 degrees here in MN? Then I'll actually be amazed at even the grass and flowers, and all of God's creation, as I am in awe of His wondrous gifts. How could anyone ever say there is no God?
    Sorry, I get so carried away when talking to such awesome friends like you, as we have so much in common. Bless you my friend!

I really like this. If it's in a contest, I hope it does great. The syllabication is correct, and the creativity is excellent. I enjoy it when a poet looks at a nature scene in a new way.

This is a very captivating image and poem. I like the words you use to describe the wonders of beauty. We don't have to go far to see the beauty when it is right in our backyard.

Lol, sometimes my imagination can be kind of overboard, with tutu fog, as that's how I saw it, and as the fog was slowly moving across the field, it truly reminded me of a slow ballet. I love the imagery! The word choice along with the feeling it created really caught my attention! I was focusing on the fog but once I read the 3 lines it became a story. This was symbolic and very creative!

    Lily, I have a dangerous imagination sometimes, that can see the fog in a tutu, as it dances slowly across the fields. My husband just thinks I'm losing it. Haha!
