This was a fun little entry and I enjoyed the ending a whole lot. Indeed...with the influx of technology and the mind boggling inventions and options on offer sometimes the simplest of tasks end up becoming unnecessarily complicated. But I guess it is what it is. You take the good with the bad. And a flying car to me will always be a plane instead no matter what they try to market it as ;-)

A nice comment on modern technology. Phones are not used for phoning, watches are not used for telling the time, laptops are used in place of TVs, and all of them crash every time the broadband dips. Society will collapse if the Sun emits a large CME that knocks all the satellites out.

It's well written and well presented.
Although, there is a lot of space between the photo and where the story begins. Have a look and you'll see, an easy fix.

Thank you for the great review, KLR. I don't know why but when I put the text right under the pic on my computer it always has that big gap in it when someone reads it on their phone. If I try to lessen the gap for phone readers then it puts the text beside the pic on my computer and I'd rather have it under the picture.
