This is a very good poem. There is a mental picture of making it to the top. Your5-7-5 syllable count is on point. The poem flows well. There appears to be no wasted words. Nice job.

Thanks?got a quick question, if you don?t mind?I?m thinking of changing the second line. Instead of saying resolutely hand in hand, the verse would say past surrender hand in hand. Can you tell me which one you like better? Thanks so much for your help.
