Ciao poet, you have 9 votes now.

For starters , I love the title.

Secondly, what a beautiful photo of his predator that hunters in the past nearly brought to extinction.

Yet the wolf plays an important role in the ecosystem. It keeps the grazers ( deer and elk)in check so the grass, plants and trees are not depleted.

Also the leftovers of their preys provide food for other wildlife. the bear and scavengers.

Yes, they are powerful and move with grace..they believe in friendship and team work ...

This wolf is alone, so it's a young male that has left his pack and is looking to mate, find his own territory and form a new pack.

I love the colour scheme too.

    Thank you Franka.
I think you somehow spawned the memory of this incredible flight and wolf sighting so - thanks :))

This 3-5-3, Northern Spirit, has the right setup and captures both the "strength" and "grace" of this incredible animal which holds a special place in our minds.

I would love to see one in action, as far as running through the open field.
If there was one. However, I would not want to be in its path. Maybe in an airplane or helicopter. Thank you for the wonderful poem and lovely picture of a lone wolf.

I was flying a floatplane at the time when I saw it.
Yeah, would be soiling myself if on the ground near one.
