What a beautifully written piece by a father in love with his baby. I like that your focus is on the eyes and how they speak to us. My husband always says that "the eyes are the gateway to the soul". You are seeing your little one's soul.
The last line is beautiful. Happy writing - and fathering.

I love the way you end this with the lines: He once was in my dreams. And now he's in my arms.
There is so much that we can see in the eyes of others; truly, as they say, the windows of the soul.
