I like this poem because there is a sort of stillness and quietness to it that seem as if it could have been a short Brahms's lullaby and meant to make you want to take a nap. It meets the 5-7-5 guideline and it's beautifully written. I just love the choice of words written by this poet such as cheeps, peep, and sleeps. I like the serene quality that this poet conveys in the poem. The poet did a great job.

Hi there,
There' a certain simplicity to this piece you've penned. I don't mean that as a criticism, it's a nice change from some of the more convoluted poems on site. It's clear, it's sweet and straightforward. I'm a big fan of observational poetry.
Nice rhyming which you don't always get in these and all syllables present and correct.

I?m so glad you like it,I have always been fascinated by forest animals. This past Christmas, I gave my husband a photo of a bear cub?that?s where I got the idea for this poem.
