    Hi. Thanks for reading this. His mom was happy and proud of his success as an adult but missed his simplicity and carefree innocence as a child.
    I should probably reword it a little.

Yes indeed, our children grow up too fast, and before you know it, it seems, they are men not boys.
I have 2 children that now I must call my adults...although they both seem to remember their childhood...The father taught them well...I enjoyed reading your poem, reminded me of my 2 male children.

    I?m glad you liked the poem. A part of me will always think of Brian as a little boy. It?s hard to let go.
