In answer to your last question, I think time exists so gifted poets such as yourself can write interesting poems about it, exercising their language skills in manipulating this strange form. I am personally not fond of so much repetition but your subject topic and word choice has kept my attention.

Pleasing yourself when you write is the best reason to do it I reckon.
I don't review prejudicially; I give a fair review on what I find while also commenting on my personal preference.

I never meant you did, I merely said I overcame my own prejudice, I get some advice from others, but in the end, generally, my readers seem to like what I do, but I don?t write to please others, writing music was the same, if one doesn?t like their own, that?s a real problem, I try to see through other?s eyes when I?m reading their work. I like to help if I can, I was knocked around when I first started. No stranger to wounds. Bless you Jenny

We seem to misunderstand each other sometimes. I wasn't suggesting that your comments reflected on my prejudices, I was merely stating how I review, just as you were stating how you have got over the prejudicial angle of reading.

Before I could make a comment, I had to look up the word pernicious! Pernicious time means formal: causing great harm or damage often in a way that is not easily seen or noticed. More pernicious still has been the acceptance of the author's controversial ideas by the general public. the pernicious effects of jealousy. She thinks television has a pernicious influence on our children.

Well done pantoum question why time seems to rule our thoughts and actions. Sometimes we wonder why things take so long and others times why it moves so quickly. But death we always want to be way in the future.
The artwork can be a metaphor for the passing of time.
