Nope. No way. I knew it would never be that easy. They placed a stoolie in there to check and see if she would come alone or have tons of backup. Ouchie!

Tango laughed and then fleeced him, pulling a license and some cards from his wallet.
--> searched or patted him down
--> 'fleece' =to deprive of money or belongings by fraud, (stealing)

Plans have been put in place and the action has begun, even though we can't tell which way anything is going to turn out. That's the proof that a talented mystery and suspense writer holds the pen. The reader is unable to second guess the outcome. You have me on the edge of my seat waiting to read what happens next. Great storytelling.

Now things are really going pear-shaped, they have to get to Jaz and the others, out of that house now!
