Again and again Tree Hugger, somehow, I keep coming across your lovely 5/7/5s today.
Please correct the typo in 'forest'.

Loved the way you've depicted the trees as soldiers awaiting an attack anytime.

I like the imagery in your poem depicting trees as proud soldiers, knowing some form of attack is coming. It's not just the wild fires that will attack them - developers, loggers etc. are on their way.
