This is another great chapter and I saw no mistakes. It showed more than told and had me on the edge of my seat. Thank you for sharing and I hope you and your family are well.

Awesome and deeply appreciated.
The family struggles but six more days and maybe there will be some kind of a resolution. I won't hold my breathe though.
Thank you as always. Carol

Amazing plot here!
This sure is creepy, Carol!
These guys are definitely the same ones who are holding Jaz, and are somehow connected to the people who took Annie -- any bad guys who didn't go down in your last novel.
I didn't find any errors.

My favorite genre to read is mystery and crime, which requires a lot of research in order to sound authentic. This story ranks with some of the top crime authors. The thing that makes your style more compelling is that you end each episode with a clue. Great Job!

Hello, Carol. This is getting pretty interesting isn't it? The coincidence seems to be more than just that. But of course, we have to see what is presented before we can draw any conclusions. I like the story. Ulla:)))

Thank you Ulla. I appreciate you taking the time to read, review and enjoy the story. I always write mystery and crime, but this particular one is veering a little off my normal path. I hope I can handle it and do justice to the story.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Well this is interesting, Carol. At last some real clues are surfacing. Making the connection to your previous novel is clever too. You've gotten the wheels turning. Excellent writing.

Now we tie into the previous story. Good job of writing.
He pulled out a chair and sat down, reliving the scene. (omit 'down')
Let's take a break and sit down for a minute." (omit 'down')
Tango introduced himself. "My name is Tango, and I'm with the FBI." (comma needed after himself)

Carol,
Oooohhh... Very interesting developments! Good job, Thomas! Good eyes. I don't know if the FBI could really give him back the originals, though. They need those as evidence. Even after they see if there is DNA or fingerprints, etc, they'd need to keep that stuff for a trial, right?
I can see giving him copies. Hmmm... On the other hand - you are far more devious and clever than me. So you just do you. hahaha
Moving on-
"Yeah, but they didn't allow Selene or me (out) front."

Everyone wants to be a star. Many try and few succeed. But those who do make it big time in the movies, usually end up missing the normal life they gave up for stardom. People. Thanks for sharing.

So there is the other clue! This is really creepy, and there is no way it could be a coincidence. Not with Annie and Sebastian. There really is evil about. That wig was obviously used by the 'missing' waitress for the last body they were shown. No wonder Garth felt that icy chill. Another superb chapter, my clever friend. Love and hugs. Sandra xxx

Good evening, my sweet friend. I am always thrilled to wake up to a response from you regarding the story. I like when you pick up on the clues.. some don't and then I worry I have lost them on the trail. This one has some fascinating characters if I don't confuse the reader.
Love you, my friend. I hope Betrayal got off to a great start. It's an excellent story written by an awesome author.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Hmmm. Something's coming full circle! No coincidence, Annie and Senastion! Now, is it a real clue or a red herring! One things for sure. I'll keep read and my to find out!
