That has to be the worst sort of news a person can get. To know your sister has died, is one thing, but to know she suffered a horrific death at the hands of some nasty piece of work, is totally different. What a horrid thing to happen to anyone! I'm rushing off again, another wonderful chapter, Carol! :)) Sandra xxx

Forgive me please for my poor display of gratitude and appreciation. I truly am grateful for all your time, your review and your thoughtfulness. I'm struggling with life and I apologize for neglecting your efforts. I am weeks behind in responding so I must at least cut and paste a thank you and hope you understand. I am thrilled that you have taken the time to read my story and to enjoy it.
Smiles, hugs and much love for all the support.

Spending time in the hellhole, we call prisons for a crime you didn't comment is a good plot for a revenge story. This writing is very well crafted as well as interesting. You must have done a lot of research or you're just familiar with this time of work.

Well I read the chapters in order but I responded to chapter 5 before chapter 4. Oh, well. It is a very interesting novel and I'm enjoying it. I am wondering how you know two much about this kind of work. You seem very knowledgeable and the story reads quite realistically. Great job.

Another great chapter although, I seem to be reading it back to front. I think this is a very good plot and am enjoying the read. It is very well written. Thank you for sharing.

I see you're moving this exciting story along, at a good clip. It's good that the young murder victim isn't Jaz, but it's terrible that Allie might think, for a while, that it is. And Garth has the very tough job of breaking the news.
I just found one error:
Ortis's body language, drooping shoulders, ...
-->
Ortiz's body language, drooping shoulders, ...
***
It's great to have a mix of old and new characters in this new novel; it keeps things very interesting!

Carol,
Bless her poor heart. I don't know why those bad guys would want to go so far as to fake Jaz's death. But I know you'll explain everything beautifully. This was a good chapter -- I enjoyed!

This wouldn't be one of your stories without multiple layers -- which will, in good time, be peeled back for the reader -- flutter one up on the other! I picked up on this partial tattoo. Perhaps despite Allie's initial devastation that will help discern the victim was not her sister? Either way, Garth is in a very difficult situation, having to break this news to her. Once again your attention to detail astounds me. I wanted to crush that darn bug myself!

I feel for Allie, having to try to identify a burned body. I hope the trip to Georgia isn't a trap by Vito. It sounds like Hank and Emmy will be joining the team again. Good chapter! Blessings. Carol

I'm sure that Garth will be able to say what he needs to and Allie should be able to put her investigative skills into practice. I'm hoping the tattoo will be a dead giveaway that it isn't Jaz.

I love to watch a new story unfolding and I'm really like how characters are brought from one book to another. The characters become like old friends. I look forward to the next chapter/
