hahahahaha! Well, at least the guy's original and a bit creative. He doesn't fall back on the same old, same old, right? I'm so glad you decided to play along with us in this contest!! I'm still trying to work on my entry - it's certainly not as easy as it seems. Or, at least, it sure hasn't been for me. But then, I am sooooo out of practice! Thanks and good luck!

it was fun and came out pretty easy for me, just based it on something my son would have done back in the high school days. Thanks for the review.

This is a cute story. I think it is the kind of story that children will love. Unfornately most teachers are wise to that 'dog ate my homework' story and aren't like to believe it.

I know but the picture was so cute I had to use it. The ending was a bit different and I was looking for a picture. When I saw the pup, I had to revise. LOL

This just delights me. It is quite a concept for a contest. You stuck right to the form and I got the giggles about halfway through. Poor old Max - well every family needs a scapegoat!

When I saw the picture of the pup with the sign, I couldn't resist. He needed a good defense lawyer. LOL Reminding me a lot of my son back in those good old days of high school.

Thanks, Roy... it was a fun little story, but I had to stand up in defense of Max... LOL Poor pup getting accused of everything. Sounded just like my son too way back when.
