Its awful to be alone but worse to thimk you are i n hell. If a person doesnt know the Lord personaly there is no hope for them so they have to go to hell. Thank you for sharing.

I'm happy you lived through it for your sake and for the sake of your family.
The write is uncompromising and the final poem made me shiver with empathy.

Thank you very much, Julia. I pulled inspiration for this haibun from my own history but it has been a long time since my last chronic depression....knock on wood. It all depends on medication, sometimes they stop working. So far so good. Besides, I live with my daughter and grandson. I take care of him... It helps a lot.
