I enjoyed this poem. I too love animals. My youngest is a cat I call Luna. She is a joy. I used to donate frequently but now I'm retired on a small pension. I do admire those who can and do, as well as those who take in these little souls. You've met the contest requirements.

I am a big donator of animals...and the Veterans...

    My friend who saves strays sent me the link and story about Pen Farthing and his rescue shelter in Afghanistan.

    And I wanted to pass word to the members of fanstory.

    Farthing s goal is to save animals and staff, many are young women, from the Talibans.

    I gave 10.00 euros but like I said even a dollar counts.

    Luckily there are many people that love animals just like us .

glad that he is able to do this for animals. The situation in Afghanistan is terrible, I pray every day for the people there.

    Yes he hopes to save the animals and the staff , many are young women, from the Talibans.

    There will be a new wave of refugees heading for Europe .. it will be a catastrophe ?

    Turkey alone has nearly 4 million refugees after Saddam and Gheddafi were killed.

    Turkey already threatened to let them loose last year in March 2020 and all these muslims want to reach Europe.

    Officially, in my country 700.000 arrived in the last 7 years .. we have no room for more.

    Europe is doomed, while America, Russia and China play tugs of war.
