So true, so true. Although some wish it were not so. I fear that if I could go back to yesterday I might well make an even worse mistake given another chance at it. I will join in with Elsa and just let it go, let it go.

Wow, this is quite lovely! Your packed words so full of wisdom and worth stated that we cannot get back yesterday. Kind of like, when a new day is peeled from yesterday to become today. So be careful what you do today as it goes down in your history to haunt or inspire your todays as they come.
Hard to explain what your haiku meant to me, forgive me if I butchered this beautiful poem :-)
