This shows how love or friendship has power over a person's emotions. If the person you love is happy then you are and vice versa. But you also have to make your own happiness.
Congrats on placing third in the contest.

Thanks for all the information about the use of the word blue/blues. I like the way that you distinguish the "sometimes" and "some times" to show the emotional changes from self versus the emotions dependent on another's influence. Congratulations on your third place finish!

This is a very clever four line poem. You could also have entered it as a love poem because of the last line. To my mind it has mote originality in that category (just a personal opinion).

I could not have said that better. Using the four lines, you squeezed a lot in there.

Nicely worded 4 line poem about being blue
feeling down ,some people can bring you down only if you let them
