The value of true faith is proven when given a chance to shine. I can say that I believe and have in this or that, but it is what I do under stress that I prove whether I have faith or I am simply fooling myself.

I really like your poem using this 5-7-5 format. It works well. I'm not sure that Prodding needs to be capitalized but that might be your preference. The picture goes with this very well. I really like it. Congratulations on your awards!

Bot being a person of faith myself, I still thoroughly enjoyed the balance of the lines and the profound feelings being described. Sometimes I find this form of poem lacking something deeper, but you did a tremendous job packing every last word with depth. Very good!

Very nice overall imagery in your verse and your accompanying artwork. One can feel why this is a FS favorite. Good luck in the voting.

IMHO you do not need to capitalize Faith or Prodding in your third line and/or consider putting a dash or squiggle after your middle line. You will add an extra oomph if you bold your text.

Nice job with the balance of this form, I liked the abrupt shock of the opening line especially. It kind of lacks the nature image and some colorful imagery in the language that haiku contains. The epiphany moment is there, the discovery of faith in an unexpected moment. You need to find an image, a poetic image, that captures that feeling. estory

I can see why this poem won the contest. It seems most find the faith while in their darkest hour, which leads to questions about why rock bottom? Why not before? Hmm.
